Billeting Coordinator

 

Summary of the Classification:

 Under limited supervision, plans, directs, and coordinates activities of the Billeting operations for a project.

 


Principal Responsibilities:

 

¥      Oversees temporary or permanent living quarters for client and other civilian contractors

¥      Coordinate activities to oversee proper maintenance, safety and cleanliness standards are adhered.

 

 

Performs many of the following responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for maintaining vacancy/occupancy rates
  • Supervise, escort and direct sub contractor employees
  • Ensure the proper inventory of supplies for living quarters and cleaning are maintained
  • Works with operations to ensure service orders for living quarters are completed in a timely manner
  • Work customer service desk providing friendly, professional service to the customer.
  • Operates as the lead over a group of Billeting Technicians.

 

 

Education Required:

Undergraduate degree in Hospitality or related field. Two (2) years of experience may be substituted for each year of college.


Experience Required:

Typically, three (3) to five (5) years experience in a related field. Military experience preferred

 


Special Knowledge/Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of all relevant safety standards related to area of responsibility.
  • Possess knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
  • Have knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote cost effective billeting arrangements for both the customer and the internal client.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in the use of PC-based business applications, including billet management programs or hotel management systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Base Salary:                        $             7128.00                  

 

Paid R&R:                           $               356.40                  

 

Overtime:                             $             5346.00
