Summary of the Classification:
Responsible for all plumbing operations to include the direction of all new construction, remodel and repair jobs that involve any aspect of plumbing installations.

Principal Responsibilities:
¥ Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Plumbing Foreman or General Plumbing Foreman
¥ Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities
Performs many of the following responsibilities:
- Moves materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work sites
- Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems in support of plant construction and maintenance activities
- Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities
- Locate and repair defective plumbing fixtures and pipe
- Services hot heater heaters
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Provide O&M related services for latrines and the water works system for structures including pre-existing and portable containers.
- O&M Plumbing consisting of all materials and labor from the first valve and manhole to the building including all plumbing fixtures and piping contained within, and outside the building.
Education Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience Required:
Typically requires two (2) to five (5) years experience as a licensed plumber.

Special Knowledge/Skills Required:
- Must possess working knowledge of the plumbing trade including the installation, repair and maintenance of hot and cold water lines, sewer pipe, soil pipe, traps and appliances such as water closets, lavatories, urinals, showers and tubs.
- Must be able to follow blueprints, diagrams and engineering specifications.
- Must possess working knowledge of plumbing fuel lines to include FARPs.
