Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.)
The degree of Master of Business Administration is a graduate program of City University of Seattle. It focuses on advanced professional business education. The program is designed for individuals who aspire to be recognized as leaders of companies or state and government organizations. Admission requirements
- Accredited undergraduate degree
- Required English language proficiency, documented by a TOEFL score of minimum 567 or following eqiuvalents:
- C2 ALTE Level 5 (Certificate in English Proficiency) - University of Cambridge
- IELTS "Band 7" (International English Language Testing System)
- Recommended work experience of minimum 3 years (not required for acceptance)
Note: City University of Seattle allows applicants to take the institutional TOEFL test arranged by CityU.
Grading system
MBA follows CityU?s general grading system. Once a student has successfully passed all required courses, CityU grants an MBA diploma. Note: The VSM/CU catalogue provides detailed information about the grading system and minimum GPA requirement.
Lenght of the study
It takes approximately 18 months to complete the MBA program (including holidays and summer vacation). You can start the program three times a year – January, April and October.
Forms of study:
- Weekend format - Courses run in a weekend format, in which every course is spread out over 3 non-consecutive Saturday-Sunday blocks.
- Distance Learning (students study individually so they do not need to attend the classes)
Beginning of study:
It is possible to start studying at the beginning of each term – fall, winter and spring. Also throughout summer our school offers some subjects in the distance learning format.

CityU`s MBA program offered at VŠM is accredited in the USA by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) as well as Assembly for Collegiate Business Education.
